OGDENSBURG-PRESCOTT INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE U.S. APPROACH TRUSS SPAN PAINTING REHABILITATION PIN 7754.28, D041413 & OGDENSBURG-PRESCOTT INTERNATIONAL BRIDGE U.S. APPROACH PAVING REHABILITATION PIN 7754.29

The Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority (OBPA) invites the public to attend the public information meeting for the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge U.S. Approach Truss Span Painting Rehabilitation (PIN 7754.28, D041413) and U.S. Approach Paving Rehabilitation (PIN 7754.29) projects. This meeting will be held as an Microsoft Teams Live Event on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 starting at 6:00 PM EST.

OBPA in cooperation with Greenman-Pedersen Inc. (GPI), the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is developing the design of two construction contracts. The Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge U.S. Approach Truss Span Painting Rehabilitation project seeks to paint as many U.S. Approach Truss Spans as funding allows in 2025 or 2026. The U.S. Approach Paving Rehabilitation project seeks to repair and repave the U.S. bridge approach asphalt pavements from Proctor Avenue through the toll plaza and U.S. Customs facility to the backwall of the U.S. Abutment in 2025 or 2026. Both projects will involve specialized work and will require alternating signalized single lane work zone traffic control for paving on the approaches and painting equipment to be located on the structure.

The purpose of the meeting is to obtain comments on the proposed project from individuals, groups, officials, and local agencies. OBPA is specifically soliciting comments on the development of alternatives for the project and comments on the project’s social, economic and environmental effects. This public informational meeting is part of the continuing efforts by OBPA, the NYSDOT and FHWA to encourage public input into the development of transportation projects.

Further information on the project may be obtained from contacting Steve Lawrence, Executive Director, Ogdensburg Bridge & Port Authority, 1 Bridge Plaza, Ogdensburg, NY 13669 or by telephone at (315) 393-4080 ext. 226.
